BUFA Composites emulsion bonded mat is a glass fibre chopped strand mat made from E-glass incorporating a silane coupling agent. The 50mm long strands are held together with a styrene soluble emulsion binder. It has good surface bonding and high strand integrity, fast air removal, good drapeability and extremely fast and complete wet out. Emulsion bonded mat is used for the construction of boats, tanks, panels and large structural parts. Suitable for hand lay up emulsion bonded mat is compatable with unsaturated polyester resins.
