Wedges

Plastic release wedges are used to aid in removing medium to large parts from a mould.  The wedges are inserted around the perimeter of the mould, between the mould and the part, and then gently driven in until the piece pops out.  BUFA Composites offer two types of wedge, flexible and rigid, both types come in a small or large size.
